BYOB Shanghai

The first Shanghai edition of BYOB (Bring Your Own Beamer) was titled Begin|End|Loop and took place at a historic event space and former abattoir called 1933.

BYOB is a series of international DIY exhibitions in which artists explore the medium of projection and light. It began in Berlin in 2010 and has since expanded across the globe.

I co-curated and produced the Shanghai show alongside Tina Blakeney and Michelle Proksell, and exhibited in both the Beijing and Shanghai editions.

As part of my role at Elisabeth de Brabant I was responsible for co-curation of solo and group shows, workshops, screenings, lectures and other events. I have worked with artists such as Hung Liu, Jeff Koons, Wang Xiao Hui, Shen Chen, Leslie Thornton, Kim Xu, Lu Jun and more
